This is extremely helpful, thanks for taking the time to lay it all out. A couple of clarifications about my setup: * I'm already on OpenCode V2 (2.2.5) for everyday use through OpenChamber, but the benchmark I described was conducted earlier using V1.19.3, so I should rerun it with V2. I'll try it, thanks for the recommendation. * The 64K context isn't a hardware limitation. It's just the current configuration. I've previously benchmarked up to 128K, but haven't evaluated 192K or 224K for real coding-agent workloads. * The Windows machine is effectively headless already. It's a dedicated inference server, accessed remotely from my Mac, without a normal desktop session. I measured idle GPU memory during earlier benchmarking and saw around 281 MiB on the 4080 and essentially zero reported on the 4070. So I'm not sure there's much VRAM to reclaim by switching to Linux. I suspect system RAM and inference-engine compatibility would be the bigger benefits. Your Swift 1.5 recommendation is particularly interesting. The combination of fewer thinking tokens and improved coding/agent scores is exactly what I'm looking for. Much more appealing than arbitrarily capping reasoning. The 224K Q5_K_S configuration also looks plausible given VRAM, although I'd want to qualify actual memory usage and long-context performance. Thanks again for the thoughtful contribution!
